Maids Policy
Ensuring Security and Harmony
To ensure a secure and well-organized living environment, the following guidelines for maids working in the Society are to be strictly followed by all residents:
1. Registration of Maids:
- Residents must register the details of their maids with the Society office, including their name, photo, and contact details.
- Police verification of maids is mandatory and must be submitted to the Society office before they start working.
2. Entry and Exit:
- All maids must record their entry and exit at the main gate daily.
- Residents are advised to ensure that their maids cooperate with the security guards in this process.
- Security reserves the right to deny entry to maids who fail to follow these protocols.
3. Identification:
- Maids must carry a valid Society-issued ID card or badge at all times while working in the premises.
- Residents must ensure that the ID card is renewed as required.
4. Maids Residing in Flats:
- Any maid staying 24/7 in a flat must be registered with the Society office.
- The owner of the flat must seek prior permission from the Society's management before allowing a maid to reside full-time.
- The maid’s details, including police verification, must be updated in the Society records.
5. Behavior and Decorum:
- Maids are expected to maintain proper behavior within the Society premises.
- Any incidents of misconduct or improper behavior should be reported to the Society office immediately for appropriate action.
6. Restricted Areas:
- Maids are not permitted to loiter in common areas, such as corridors, staircases, or the parking lot, after completing their work.
- They must leave the premises immediately after completing their duties unless staying in a flat with permission.
7. Work Timings:
- Residents are requested to define and communicate fixed working hours for their maids.
- Maids should not be allowed to enter or remain in the Society premises beyond these timings without prior permission.
8. Handling of Keys:
- Residents are strongly advised not to hand over their flat keys to maids or allow them access to sensitive areas without supervision.
- The Society will not be responsible for any incidents arising from such practices.
9. Hygiene Standards:
- Residents must ensure that maids maintain proper personal hygiene while working.
- Any maid showing signs of illness or unhygienic behavior should be replaced or temporarily suspended from work.
10. Reporting Issues:
- Residents should promptly report any suspicious activity or concerns regarding maids to the Society office or security personnel.
11. Termination and Updates:
- If a maid’s services are terminated, residents must immediately inform the Society office to update records and deactivate the ID card.
- Similarly, hiring a new maid requires updating records and submitting the required documentation.
These guidelines are designed to promote security, transparency, and harmony within the Society. Your cooperation in following these rules is crucial for creating a safe and comfortable environment for all residents.
