Rental Rules and Guidelines

Ensuring Harmony and Transparency

1. Rental Agreement Submission:
Owners renting out their flats must enter into a stamped Rental Agreement directly with the tenant. A copy of the Rental Agreement must be submitted to the Society office before the tenant occupies the flat to ensure proper record-keeping and compliance with Society regulations.

The Rental Agreement must include specific clauses that ensure adherence to Society rules and regulations by both the tenant and the owner.


2. Police Verification:
Once a tenant is finalized, the owner must provide a police verification report of the tenant to the Society. This is a mandatory requirement from the police authorities and must be submitted to the President or Hon. Secretary before handing over the keys to the tenant.


3. Charges and Deposits:

  • Shifting Charges: A non-refundable fee of ₹4,000 must be paid to the Society at the time of both moving in and vacating the flat.


4. Use of Elevators:
Tenants are strictly prohibited from using elevators to transport heavy household items during shifting. Any damage caused to elevators due to misuse will be the responsibility of the flat owner. The owner must ensure that tenants comply with this rule.


5. Renovations and Alterations:
Tenants are not allowed to carry out renovations or alterations in the flat unless:

  • Authorized explicitly by the flat owner.
  • Conducted with prior knowledge and written permission from the Society.


6. Non-Compliance:
Tenants will not be allowed to occupy the flat if any of the above guidelines are not followed. Failure to comply with these rules may result in permission being denied for the prospective tenant to move into the flat.


These rules are intended to ensure smooth operations, mutual respect, and harmony within the Society. By adhering to these guidelines, members and tenants contribute to maintaining a well-regulated and peaceful community environment.
